Mission Possible has been an annual event in our community starting in 2013 as a response to the flood. It is now our version of Neighbour Day in Calgary. Every event has featured free burgers and entertainment. Original Joe’s will be part of this event for the third year. Two new contributors this year are Yann Haute Patisserie and Mill Street Brewery. We thank them for their wonderful contributions to this fun event. There will be lots going on. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy the afternoon with your neighbours. This year we will be accepting cash donations for the Calgary Food Bank.
We are still actively recruiting volunteers for all kinds of fun tasks, from set-up to tear-down, and all the fun in between. If you have a couple hours to spare, contact our Social Director email@example.com.
Please note: On page 14 of the Swerve magazine (June 9 – 17 edition) that comes with Friday’s Calgary Herald, there is a listing of Neighbour Day events on Saturday, June 17 in Calgary. The address for Mission Possible, our Neighbour Day event, is incorrect. They have listed our mailing address. The event will be held in the park on the north side of our community centre located at 2201 Cliff Street SW.
